School-Home Communication

Parent/Guardian Contact Information

In case of illness, accident or other emergency, the school will attempt to contact a child's parent or guardian. Please make sure the school has current contact information, including home, work, and cell phone numbers. In addition, be sure to keep the office informed of any changes in emergency contacts or child care arrangements.

School Information & Flyers

One of the primary forms of communication for school information is the weekly Friday email from the Principal. Please ensure that your email address is accurate and up to date with our office staff.

Teachers will send home communication via email and virtual classroom platforms (i.e. Google Classroom or Classroom Dojo), or information in your student's backpack as needed.

Informational flyers about school & PTA events are also sent to your email via PeachJar, which you can sign up for on the Spreckels PTA webpage under "Connect."

Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences

Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences happen twice a year, and are a terrific opportunity for you to communicate with teachers about your child's progress. Typically, a conference will take 30-45 minutes. During this time, the teacher will show samples of you child's work so that you will have a better understanding of your child's specific strengths and area of need.
